As the second part in our vintage logo design series, these examples of 1950’s logos are all recognisable and are still being used today, in one form or another, by some of the world’s biggest brands. Our graphic designers want to demonstrate that of all the factors that make a great logo, the most important of all is ‘endurance’. Creating a timeless logo can enable a brand to span decades, which in turn allows a brand the time required to become more than just a product or service, but part of the cultural landscape.
