Campaign Creation & Execution
The Optical Company who own optical retail brands Kevin Paisley and Stacey & Stacey briefed us to create an integrated marketing campaign. Spurred on by sluggish new customer numbers. TOC had a limited marketing budget to spend and consistently battles large competitors with money to burn.
To combat these challenges, Creative Order developed a highly successful spring and summer through-the-line advertising campaign that combined a strong retail offer, presented using innovative art direction. The end result is a campaign that has serious cut-through across television, press, radio and in-store in their below-the-line point-of-sale channels.
The concept; ‘Switch up you look’ was inspired by the timing of the launch of the new campaign, Spring. Bright, colourful new spring flora was used to re-create hair-dos for both male and female. This creative idea gave us the platform to exhibit a large array of designer frames for both women and men. The TVC utilised stop motion animation of the head spinning as new glasses pop, switch and change. The completely arresting art direction, aligns with designer brand names like the designer fashion brands like Ray Ban and Oliver People.
Using creative thinking and ‘pushing-the-envelope’ art direction, the ‘Switch Up’ campaign is forging the way in getting regional brands noticed and taking on the big optical brands.
