Investec ADC 2013: Brand Activation, Trade Show, Event & Exhibition Design

Creative Order designed the exhibition stand for Investec at the Australian Dental Congress 2013. Our brand activation brief; to create an extraordinary space to promote and amplify Investec’s home mortgage, car finance and equipment lease finance products.

Our concept for the trade show was built around ‘Your Investec’. The idea being to create a space which replicated their client’s home and work environment, showing that Investec truly understands their world – demonstrating everything from a mortgage for the family home, to hire purchase of equipment for their surgery or work place. We also took the opportunity to use affiliate marketing on the exhibition stand by connecting Investec with Audi Australia – this showed how clients could use their Investec credit card to buy that red Audi they always wanted.

The display stand was designed like a house split into two sides – one side representing one’s home and the other one’s work place. The house featured designer furniture inside, surrounded by white picket fencing, planter boxes and a green grass yard. Parked proudly on the concrete driveway was a shiny new Audi RS5.

The on-stand activity was built around the Audi driving experience – we organised two racing simulators and invited stand visitors to race their colleagues for the fasted lap time. A lucky South Australian was the 3 day overall winner – the major prize being an amazing Audi Drive weekend experience.

Creative Order executed everything from creative direction and copy writing, to full project management -our exhibit display team were also integral in building the stand and setting the stage for the day, managing everything from rigging to set dressing.

The event was a complete success with a 22% entry/participation rate from over 3,000 on-stand visitors, and a 5% product uptake, an exceptionally good result considering the products are big ticket finance items such as home loans.
